Agreement

By using ClinicalAssist ("the Service") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

ClinicalAssist is an AI clinical decision support tool for UK healthcare professionals. It suggests differential diagnoses, investigations, prescribing information, clinical calculators and care pathways. It is a decision support tool only, not a medical device. Who can use it

The Service is for qualified healthcare professionals, supervised healthcare students and other clinical staff. By signing up you confirm you are one of these or are otherwise allowed to use clinical decision support tools. You must be at least 18 to create an account.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for everything done under your account. Do not share it or let anyone else use it. If you think someone has, tell us straight away at hello@clinicalassist.io.

Clinical responsibility

Every clinical decision is your own professional responsibility. ClinicalAssist supports your reasoning but does not replace your judgement, training or duty of care. Check every suggestion against current guidelines, your country's official medicines source or formulary, local protocols and the patient's circumstances.

Patient data

Do not enter information that identifies a patient unless you have made sure this meets your organisation's information governance policies, UK GDPR and the Caldicott Principles. Assessment data is stored on your device only. Use anonymised or pseudonymised data wherever you can.

Payment

There are no paid plans at the moment. Clinical calculators work without an account. AI features need you to sign in and have usage limits. If we add paid features, we will show the price and payment terms before you buy.

What you must not do

• Use the Service for anything unlawful
• Try to reverse-engineer or extract our AI models or algorithms
• Scrape or bulk-access the Service with automated tools
• Share AI clinical output publicly without proper context and disclaimers
• Present ClinicalAssist output as your own independent clinical analysis in publications or legal proceedings

Our content

The content, design, code and AI models in ClinicalAssist are owned by or licensed to us. The clinical calculators implement published scoring tools for educational and clinical use. Do not copy, distribute or build on the Service without our written permission.

No guarantees and limits on our liability

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent English law allows, ClinicalAssist and its developers are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages from your use of the Service, including clinical outcomes, patient harm or loss of data.

Your responsibility for claims

You agree to cover ClinicalAssist, its developers and associated parties against any claims, damages or costs arising from your use of the Service, including clinical decisions you make using its output.

Changes

We may change these terms. If we make significant changes, we will let you know. If you keep using the Service after changes take effect, you accept them.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
